"We don't succeed in spite of our differences. We thrive because of them."

I strongly encourage all of our clients to first acknowledge that everyone is different, and second, learn to celebrate and leverage that. Learn to meet people where they are and articulate their unique value. In a JustRight culture, people understand their gifts and their roles clearly, and they bring their A game every day. When we lead people, the very first thing we learn is that everyone doesn't think like us, and that's the magic of it.

If you haven't invested the time and energy into doing some sort of healthy, honest and open work around "Who we are as individuals, and what that means collectively", you are missing something critical to the development of your culture.

Culture happens, either by chance or by design, in alignment with our mission, vision, and values. The ownership of this responsibility falls squarely on the leadership. Hiring nice people with relevant talent is a start. Creating, scaling, and sustaining an environment where they can thrive requires a rare brand of leader. Our primary purpose is helping those leaders grow.
